Dir. Dieudo Hamadi - 2017 - France, Democratic Republic of Congo, Netherlands, USA
Having worked for 15 years for the brigade against sexual violence and the protection of minors in Bukavu, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where she was very popular due to the effectiveness of her work, Colonel Honorine learns that she is transferred to Kisangani, a city unknown to her, some 650 km from Bukavu.
The film follows the Colonel in her daily work: her departure from Bukavu, her installation and the discovery of her new place of work. In Kisangani, she must face up to a situation she has never been confronted to before. Soon after her arrival, she meets women victims of sexual violence during the "Six-Day War", a conflict that had taken place 10 years earlier. As she settles into a new team, she must come to the aid of these women that everyone has tended to forget, "treating" them as everyday cases, notably the children beaten for witchcraft.
