Dir. Maka Gogaladze - 54min - 2019 - Georgia
Changes in my home city Tbilisi, capital of Georgia, brought about by the collapse of Soviet Union, were followed by fire at my home. All of my memories were destroyed, leaving me feeling alienated. Taking my camera, I go through the remains of my home, as well as old spaces around my neighbourhood, piecing together the surviving fragments of my childhood. Through the artefacts of my personal history, I seek to preserve my memories, as well as the collective emotional memory of Georgia.
